Bula! Alexis and I spent 6 magical weeks on Caqalai, I think we hold the record for the longest stay! It is the most perfect place on earth. After travelling for 6 months it felt like home and I would have stayed there forever. I can't wait to go back and see everyone again. Richardx

The best way to sum up Caqalai in just a couple words is absolutely perfect. Recently i went there with my family and if your looking for a place to unwind and expierience one of those ideal tropical island holidays, this is it. The fijian staff are warm and friendly, the water is the most beautiful spectacular aqua blue and the beaches are flawless. Great to find out a web site has been built for the island because everyone should know about this place and i cant wait to get back there again.

Awesome holiday stay. Went to Fiji for 10 days and stayed in 6 different places (busy busy..) Also went on several day trips to different resorts. Caqalai (pronounced Thung-a-li) was the best by far. VERY VERY relaxed atmosphere and back to basics. Great place to unwind and de-stress. The way I expected Fiji to be. I'll be back for sure...

Bula! We spent a wonderful time in March 2003 on Caqalai with the people of the island. We spent very memorable moments with the family so that we decided to take a lot of pictures to create them a nice image-brochure and a website. These moments on Caqalai were the most touching experience I ever had. Yesterday I registrated a domain for the island and today I saw that there is one from you! What for a coincidence! Have a nice time and look soon on http://www.caqalai-island.com or http:www.caqalai.com. It is a gift to Caqalai....

Tops! A great way to spend a week. The guys on the island must be pro-volleyballers. 3pm each day we had our own mini tournament. Coconut trees were a hazard for dive shots! Thoroughly recommend it. Get your butt down there.

What a wonderful place! Beautiful white sand, clear blue water, lovely coral, lots of tropical - an aquarium on the doorstep! Our burre was just 30 feet from the water - and tidied for us every day. Look at the entry for Caqalai in the Lonely Planet - Fiji Edition. Its write-up is accurate and excellent. The only item missing was the fact you can observe turtles hatching! One baby turtle made its way to our burre by mistake. We helped it to the water! NB Food beautiful, wonderfully friendly Fijian staff and the local family who run the Island and their children are a joy. We stayed 2 weeks and did not get bored. Met really nice fellow travelers from all over the world. A great place - you'll love it!

What can I say!! The island was so good and the people so lovely that I just had to build them a web site! Such great people and deserve any help that I can give them. The island is truly an amazing, back-to-nature get away. Highly recommended! Lots of fresh fish to eat.
